Everything was delicious. The staff very tentative and quick. Congrats for the wonderful cuisine and decor that is really welcoming and cozy.
We recently dined at Gaudets Café & Bistrot, and our experience was somewhat mixed. On the positive side, the restaurant is very well located and offers a pleasant setting. The space is spotless, the tableware is elegant, and the overall ambiance is refined. The service, in particular, deserves recognition attentive, professional, and executed with genuine care throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the same standard. The dishes we were served were disappointingly average, lacking both depth and character. The teriyaki tuna, for instance, was barely flavorful and noticeably watery, raising the question of whether it had been previously frozen. As for the meat dish, it was tough and rather bland, with no real culinary distinction. Given the quality of the setting and service, this was quite surprising. One can’t help but wonder whether there is a true chef behind the kitchen, as the execution suggests a lack of direction and refinement. In short, a restaurant with undeniable potential, but one that needs to significantly elevate its cuisine to match the level of its service and presentation. Not worth the money and there is better options in this nice small town
Nice place for drinks or dinner. The staff were especially kind and helpful as my Italian is not quite as good as their English. With a little help from Google Translate, We booked a table having arrived too early, and came back at dinnertime. We were seated, and our order was taken right away. I had Eggplant Parmesan and my partner had the Beef and Potatoes. Both dishes were reasonably priced, and both were delicious! Food was fresh, well prepared, and tasty. Service was excellent. Recommendation: Great meal at a fair price.
Lovely place. Great Italian food and lovely atmosphere. Recommend it very much!
Very positive experience for aperitivo. Next time we'll taste the rest of the menu
