Dimora storica Giorni resort & spa

We had a lovely time at the Giorni resort and spa. The garden ambiance was perfect for reading and relaxing. The spa was beautiful! The hot tub was warm but not hot; the sauna was plenty hot! Our bedroom was spacious with 4 big rooms. The bed was super comfortable! The sink was a little difficult to manage as tall people (stand on the step and you tower over the sink; stand off the step and you’re too far from the sink). The staff was wonderful and helpful especially being patient with our minimal Italian. They resolved any minimal issues quickly and cheerfully. We enjoyed one wonderful and special dinner at the restaurant. The extensive breakfast buffet more than satisfied us. The historic aspects of this palazzo from the 1500s were super interesting. This resort is not recommended for anyone who can’t navigate stairs well.

A enchanting spot in Pignola. This historic residence boasts an Italian-style garden with a swimming pool, a spa and a golf club, just a few kilometres from the town centre. The dishes are beautifully presented and stand out for their use of high-quality ingredients.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was fantastic, the view was beautiful, and dinner and breakfast were out of this world. We were also lucky to get to meet Bianca! We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Giorni Resort in the 2nd week of October. We picked it because we wanted to be in the countryside and it was rated so highly and looked beautiful. We were not disappointed, in fact, we were overwhelmed by how beautiful the historic building and rooms are, but even more so by the incredible care and service we received. The owner and staff were incredibly kind to us and their service was the best I've ever experienced. They gave us the royal treatment for breakfast and dinner each day, and gave us wine tastings of all the great Cantina Giorni wine that the family makes. The wine was very good, the dining was delicious and they treated us like royalty. They also had electric bikes they offered us so we could take a long bike ride in the country. I would recommend the Giorni resort to anyone who likes beautiful historic architecture and being treated special.

We’ve been traveling around Europe and it’s has been normal for us to give reviews to all hotels we stayed in, We went in Italy and decided to explore on its countryside, and we stayed in this hotel, it has its own unique beauty, and relaxing ambiance. Our room was totally perfect!! I just notice that the staffs aren’t speaking English. With my curiosity of the place I ask the staff which i think the receptionist, about the history of the hotel and some tourist spots nearby, yet she just laugh at us loudly. And also i experienced indeed a terrible breakfast and dinner because they gave wrong order, instead of beef, they gave lamb, instead of egg with bacon they gave again wrong order. In other way around, the place is really nice. PS: It would be better if an English speaker will stay in the receiving area and somehow in the restaurant.
