Casale Acquë a Mònëchë

My first visit and not the last, I have to come back here. Beautiful atmosphere, sunset view. The whole place feels peaceful. The food was of a high standard, I enjoyed every bite. I definitely recommend visiting!

Best place, best environment to enjoy food and drinks

Our family had a magical afternoon at this fantastic spot! We were visiting from the United States. Our family is originally from San Fele and my aunt still lives in nearby Bella. The view was spectacular as we enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch! The staff was very accommodating, and as the server saw my aunt and cousin discussing and debating the order, she simply said she would would take all the suggestions and bring us a lovely lunch...and that she did! Each course was served slowly and was perfectly prepared, so we experienced a true Italian family meal. I wish I could say which dish was most delicious, but that would be like a mother choosing a favorite child! The pasta, the ravioli, the small, shared primi dishes such as zucchini and local peppers, bruschetta were all so flavorful and satisfying. Then came the meat- perfectly cooked and so tasty. Our espresso and dessert were as delicious as the meal. The mayor of San fele was dining at the table next to ours and we chatted after our meal. He told us another New Jerseyan is from San Fele...famous actor Danny Devito! I would happily meet him there for a lunch together where our families and stories began. Next, I have to mention the grounds! Our young cousin took me to the playground and we had a blast on the swings and such as other family drank from the spring fountain and sat at tables nearby enjoying our fun. This place is truly a treasure- go with your family and create memories! Thank you Cascale Acque a Moneche!

We had dinner here and really enjoyed the food, location and people. The staff spoke English and helped us with our Italian. A must stop when in the area. The sunset dining would be amazing.

Visiting family in San fele, just 2 or 3km away from Casale Acque a Moneche. We had lunch, several pasta dishes and several meat dishes also. Great southern food from a fantastic area of Basilicata. Staff great and the views, considering the weather was foggy it was great. We must return soon. Grazie.
